Englewood Homes is a premier Tulsa area home builder located in Coweta, Oklahoma. We have custom built homes that range in price of 200k up to 9 million. We also have a regular set of floor plans we build in several area subdivisions. Quality and reliability is a focus with every home we build and your satisfaction means everything to us.
Our Process
Your new home is probably the largest investment you’ll ever make. At Englewood Homes, we recognize that in addition to the financial aspect, building a home is also a personal investment. We do our best to make the process of both buying and building a custom home to be a fun and comfortable one.
After your plan has been selected, the builder representative goes over the options and provides you with a price to construct your home. Once a contract has been signed, your plan is sent to our designer/drafter to complete the design with any changes. Once all changes have been finalized and signed off on, permits are pulled to start the construction process.
A unique part of the custom process is that buyers get to meet with our selections coordinator to go over the various options for the exterior and interior: brick color, stone, paint color, flooring, cabinets, appliances, lighting, etc. Once selections are made, it is very important to limit change orders because this can be costly and hinder the build process.
Building a custom home can take 6-8 months. There's a lot of steps and phases that require coordination of multiple vendors. After your home has been framed and dried-in, a walkthrough is scheduled with the superintendent. During the walkthrough you, the customer, mark the location for cable, internet/phones and check light switch and electrical outlet locations. As the build process comes to completion a one last walkthrough will be scheduled with the superintendent for new home orientation and quality review
